Let's move on to clothes!

I made some more progress! Still continuing with calm and effective baby steps. Now that I have the majority of the makeup thought out, I turned to the outfits. Even though I don’t have the EXACT outfits planned out, I already took note of some of the clothes that will aid with the trends and styles for this spring season. My closet it quite bland since I only wear white, gray, black, blue, and occasionally some red and purples. With that, I had to raid my mom’s closet! Sorry mom but I had to! Her closet is colorful and offers a grand variety of prints so I found some essential pieces that are going to add a lot to the pictures!! Before I talk about each piece, I want to clarify that these are my size and I won’t be the model, however, I don’t have to permanently alter them to fit my models. With the help of some clothes pins and the magic of angles, you will not be able to see the fake seams! I already know I will have to alter almost every piece, which is why I am also going to ask my friends to wear some of their own stuff; some essentials that everyone has like white shorts, plain white shirt, etc, just in case we need them throughout the photoshoot.
Here are some of the pieces I found:

These 2 pairs of pants are going to be very helpful when styling my friends for simpler photos. There are going to be some pictures in which the focus will be either the product being advertised or they will be pictures to include in the T.O.C. I obviously still want them to be in style with the trends, which is why these colors work out. Baby blue and lavender were 2 of the colors that were on my trend list. Another great thing about these pants is that I can easily style them with any white or black top and along with some green scenery for the picture, it will turn out amazing!

This next pair of pants I like to call my “glam businesswoman pants”. Another trend was plaided pants, which is personally one of my favorites. Same as the previous pants, they can be paired with simple tops and a bright background. I was thinking about using these for the cover page or maybe for my T.O.C as an “interview” preview picture (hence: my glam businesswoman pants!)

These pants and romper I personally love! They are not my style at all but I am trying to be more open-minded when it comes to colors, which is very hard for me. Since another trend was scarf patterns on clothes, when I saw these I was beyond ecstatic. The pants are flowy so to compliment that I could pair them with a tighter top, maybe a tank top or tube top. The romper is really easy to style since it is already one piece! I also really love this option for the cover page, especially the pants, because they would attract so much attention and against a green background, the colors would make each other stand out.

As for these 2 shirts, I also picked them because of the colors; magenta and bright orange were also on the list. I see my mom wear these with white shorts all the time during spring and let me just say, it screams spring. This is another one of my options to add around the table of contents, but also for my story. Since my story is about a product that has orange packaging, I want to try playing around with some pictures of my friend wearing the orange shirt and the product, just to see if it is too much orange or if it matches nicely.

This dress is a great option to pair with the fancier makeup looks. Adding a black or white belt around the waist would look very dainty and figure fitting. Even though I don’t have any belt like that, I will definitely add that to the list of things I need to ask my friends for. Again, I will continue to talk about my adoration for green scenery. This dress against grass or a plant wall would look stunning since the colors are opposites.

This jacket is another important item to just have on hand since it has some flowers and matches the color trend. I don’t necessarily have any ideas in particular as to how to style it, but it really shouldn’t be hard since jackets are usually the accessory.
